A8 ROUSE INDEXABLE BORING BAR SET

For boring heads and square tool holders.

Instead of one cutting point with each tool as is common with brazed tip tooling, each insert has three precision ground cutting edges. The user has a choice of carbide grades, just by changing inserts whereas with brazed tip tooling, a complete new tool must be purchased. A new cutting edge may be presented to the work just by indexing the insert. Repeatability is within ± 0.001". It is not necessary to remove the tool from the boring chuck or tool post to sharpen as is necessary with brazed tip tools. Saves time and money!
