KPR Series – 30° Spiral Knurls
Knurling has a wide variety of applications in day to day use. It is most commonly used for decorative purposes and for serrating surfaces where components are locked or keyed together in unit assemblies.
KNURLING INFORMATION:
- To produce right hand knurling – Use left hand knurls.
- To produce left hand knurling – Use right hand knurls.
- To produce male diamond (raised pyramids) – Use a pair of right hand and left hand knurls or (1) female knurl.
- To produce female diamond (depressed pyramids) – Use (1) male diamond knurl.
