Top precision quality.
Standard drill bushings (over .0400" bore) are manufactured from steel which demonstrates excellent wear resistance and dimensional stability characteristics. This material is "hardened" to Rc 62-64.
All press fit bushing ground to press fit tolerances are supplied with a chamfer and ground concentric lead on the O.D. of the exit end. This chamfer/lead combination provides assistance by "starting" the bushing into the hole, resulting in easier insertion.
