The side cutting edge angle of the B style tool provides a gradual entrance to the work for heavy or interrupted cuts. The lead angle allows initial impact of the cut to start at a distance well back of the point of the tip where there is adequate support for the forces encountered.
C-2 Grade: Carbide grade for cast or malleable iron, aluminum and non-ferrous materials.
