Auto-set unit for Series 178 Manual Column Stand

The Mitutoyo Auto-set unit allows surface roughness measurements to be performed with the push of a single button. This unit automatically completes a full cycle of stylus contact, measurement, stylus retraction, and the auto-return of the detector with the push of one button. Alternately, the stylus retraction and detector auto-return can be switched on and off by the operating drive unit. This unit is compatible with the Surftest SJ-400/SJ-410 series surface roughness testers, which are available for purchase separately, and must be used with a column stand.
