Jobbers length drills are designed to perform in a wide variety of normal conditions and in a broad range of materials in both machine and portable drilling.
Thre wide land parabolic design provides superior performance in the greater range of materials and applications. Especially effective in deep hole drilling: unique flute form produces closer tolerances due to improved chip and coolant flow, and higher torsional rigidity.
Cobalt HSS is used for drilling tough, high tensile strength materials. Drills are made of heat resistant, 8% cobalt high speed steel, with heavy duty flute construction.
